Doris Speir
Doris Lou Speir, 89, passed away in Newton, Iowa on October 8, 2013. She was born in Little Rock to James Henry Speir and Alice Tate Speir. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and seven sisters.
She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Brassfield (Bruce) of Newton; Marilyn Cowell (Ray) and Sandra Needham (Gale) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Nancy Gallegos of Benton, Arkansas and Sharon Hill (Chris) of Desoto, Texas; son, Thomas Price of Conway, Arkansas; twenty-two grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Graveside services are Thursday, October 10 at 4:00 p.m. at Hicks Cemetery in Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Pulaski County, 14600 Colonel Glenn Rd., Little Rock, AR 72210.
