Doris Ann Morgan, 71, of Jacksonville, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2006. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bill (James) Morgan; four sons, James L. Morgan (Janet) of Fayetteville, NC; Jessie Morgan (Ivory), Randall Morgan and Bryan Morgan, all of Jacksonville; three grandchildren, Rhiannon Matich of North Carolina; Bryan Morgan and Emily Morgan, of Jacksonville; one great-grandchild, Alex Matich of North Carolina. Also surviving are her sisters, Roxie Boyette of Perryville and Helen Stafford of Jacksonville, and special friends, Evonne McArthur, Alice Thompson and Betty Wolfe. Doris attended Maddox Road Baptist Church and was a member of VFW Post 4548 in Jacksonville.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:30am on Friday, April 21, 2006, at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home Chapel, 1504 J P Wright Loop Road, Jacksonville, with Rev. Don Sawyer and Rev. Rodney Westmoreland officiating. Burial will be at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland, No. Little Rock. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 901 N University, Little Rock, AR 72207
