Doris B. Moore, 72, of Beebe, Arkansas, was born February 19, 1939, in England, Arkansas, to Raymond and Ethel Michael, and went to be with the Lord Friday, June 24, 2011. She was a retired beautician and also retired from NBA.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin Julian Moore; two sons, Benny Goodwin and wife Jackie of Beebe, and Marvin "Jay" Moore, Jr. of Searcy; daughter Cindy Carpenter of Searcy; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2011, at Union Valley Baptist Church, with burial in Stoney Point Cemetery.
