Doris Janice Fulton of North Little Rock passed away on December 5, 2006 after suffering from Alzheimer?s for over 10 years. She was born on April 20, 1923 on Ironton Road in Little Rock with 12 brothers and sisters including her twin brother, Morris. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 63 years, Tom Fulton. She is survived by her two daughters, Janice Lea Gardner and husband Roy, and Carolyn Epperson; two granddaughters, Lori Garcia and husband Jose, and Kari Dalton and husband Bobby; her only surviving sibling, Juanita Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was blessed with three great-grandchildren, Holly Miller, Austin Miller, and Logan Dalton.
She was a loving mother and homemaker, president of the Volunteers Auxiliary at Memorial Hospital, President of the Women?s Homebuilder?s Association, a member of Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church for over 50 years and an active member of her Sunday school class.
Doris loved the Lord and trusted Him with her soul. She had a sense of humor, was compassionate, always had a listening ear, and was kind, loving, had a servant?s heart, and loved children and animals. She was an honorable and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt.
Memorials may be made to Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church or Arkansas Children Home.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday at Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Edgewood Memorial Park.
