Doris Black
Doris L. Black, age 92, of Arkadelphia, died Wednesday, November 16, 2016. She was born November 3, 1924 to the late Lon and Belle Etheredge Lockley. She was retired from the Arkadelphia Human Development Center and was a member of the Arkadelphia Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband M.R. "Russ" Black.
Survivors include three sons, Gary Black and wife Marilyn of Benton, Jim Black of Arkadelphia, David Black and wife Diane of Norfolk, VA., one daughter, Lisa Buck and husband Mickey of Arkadelphia, seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be 2:30 pm Sunday November 20th at the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home chapel with Roger Genung officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Arkadelphia Church of Christ.
