Dorene King
Dorene King, 95, of Cabot, Arkansas, was born June 26, 1920 in Garland County, Arkansas, to Hubert and Annie (Harrison) Bivens, and she died Sunday, March 27, 2016. She and her husband, Monroe P. King, who preceded her in death, loved music, especially bluegrass, and enjoyed their excursions to Tunica. They had a beautiful life together. She was a hard-working and dedicated country lady.
Dorene is survived by her brother, William (Velma) Biven of Arkadelphia, and their children, Kay, Kathy and Lynn; her nephew, Charles (Margaret) Lovell of Jacksonville, and their children and grandchildren, Eddie Lovell (Lori), Alex Lovell, Tanya Biggs, Briar Biggs and Jaxson Nelson; her niece, Anna Kennedy of Memphis, Tennessee and her children Austin Kennedy and Elizabeth Chambliss.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Jennette Lovell.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe, with burial in Beebe Cemetery. Arrangements by Smith-Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe.
