Dora Johnson, born February 7, 1923 in Stampley, Mississippi to the late Clem and Emmaline Stampley. She went home to be with God March 11, 2012 at 11:05 am.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Scorza, grandson, Kenderick Scorza, great-grandchildren, Joshua Fletcher, Aurbrey Scorza, Kevin Scorza II; her sister, Rosie Lee Tenner of Fayette, MS, and her brother, Cosie B. Stampley of Rowlett, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Johnson, grandson, Kevin C. Scorza, sisters Gertrude West, Maggie Morris, Lucy Stampley, Laura Carridine, Letha Doss, and brother Alvin Stampley Sr..

Dora came to know Christ at an early age. She moved to New Orleans, LA from Mississippi in 1943 where she lived until Hurricane Katrina cause her to move and settle in North Little Rock, AR.

Dora worked various jobs, but proudly made her living as a housekeeper. She attended St. Luke Baptist Church in New Orleans until Hurricane Katrina. There she faithfully served on the Usher Board.

Pastor Harold Nash will lead a funeral service at Fellowship North of NLR on Thursday, March 15, at 2:00 pm. The family will greet guests beginning at 1:00 pm.

Burial will follow at Arkansas Memorial Gardens, 8501 Highway 161, North Little Rock.
