Donya Thompson
Donya (Dodie) Pitts Thompson, age 85 of Sherwood, went home to be with the lord on April 3, 2014 at home. She was born May 6, 1928 in North Little Rock, AR. She was the daughter of Elmer Pitts and Mary Rexroad Pitts. She will be remembered as being a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Don Pitts.
Survivors include husband of 69 years, Billy E. Thompson Sr.; son, Billy E. Thompson Jr. (Debbie); daughter, Donya S. Thompson; grandson, Mike (Kristy) Thompson; great grandson, Corbin Thompson, and sister in law, Janis Pitts and her family.
Graveside services will be held at 10am on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Arkansas State Veterans' Cemetery in North Little Rock.
Mrs. Thompson will lie in state for viewing Monday, April 7 from 9am to 6pm at Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood.
