Send With Love
Donnie Manasco, age 72, of Newhope, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024.
He was born on April 27, 1951, in Newhope, the son of Rayford and Bonnie Jean Manasco. He was preceded in death by his father; and his son, Brian Manasco.
Donnie was a man of many hats. When he did something he gave his all. He was a store owner early in life, a farmer for a time, a truck driver, logger, but most of all, he was a daddy first. He followed and coached his kids to every town in Arkansas for every sport they were in. Donnie coached several young boys around the area and was so proud of them all. He will always be the "cigar-smoking coach." Donnie and Deana married in 2002 and started their life as a family in Newhope. Donnie loved to hunt and fish and taught all of his children to love it too. Basketball and baseball were his favorite pastime, he could be found sitting outside drinking coffee and coaching just about any time. Donnie touched a lot of lives and he will be missed by all who knew him.
Donnie is survived by his wife, wife, Deana Manasco; his daughter Denise Manasco Cook; his two sons, William Coffman and Colton Coffman; his mother, Bonnie Jean Manasco; his granddaughter who was his pride and joy, Madison Cook; and his two sisters, Janice Shaw and Debbie Counts; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends.
