Donnell Nichols, 72, of Ward, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2010. He was born April 28, 1937 in Batesville, to the late Albert and Almie (Turner) Nichols. Don was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Miranda Sue Hamrick; one brother, Ben Nichols; and two sisters, Ethel White and Joyce Girard.
Donnell is survived by his wife, Reva Nichols of Ward; five sons, Donnie Nichols of Enola, Todd Nichols of Garner, Terry Nichols of Bald Knob, Kelly Nichols of Rogers, and Lenard Wood of Hot Springs; four daughters, Cammie Hamrick of Austin, Angela Decker of Austin, Lisa Leflay of McRae and Jeanette Trent of Beebe; twenty-one grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Pauline Cantu of Little Rock.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2010, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Dunkard Cemetery.
