Donna Wood
Donna Jane Wood, 69, of Benton, passed away February 26, 2012. Born in Barrie, Ontario, Canada to Gordon H. and Katherine M. Scott Sprague, she was a surgical nurse retired from the VA Hospital. She was a member of the Saline County Master Gardeners Association and NLR Friends of Animals.
Preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Scott Sprague, she is survived by her brother, Dan Sprague (Wendy) of Florida; special friend, Kenneth Jones; good friend, Julie Tucker, both of Benton; and her pets, Newman, Bert and Gracie.
Services will be Thursday, March 1 at 2:00 p.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), followed by interment at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
