Donna Turner, age 59, of Lodi, died Wednesday, February 23, 2011. She was born on November 19, 1951, at Hot Springs, the daughter of Clarence Albert Parker and Mabel Brown Parker. On June 12, 1971, she was married to Mike Turner. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Arva Parker and Dwane Parker. She was a member of the Daisy Free Will Baptist Church, Daisy Ladies Auxiliary and teacher of Daisy C.H.I.C.S. Sunday School class. She was a 1969 graduate of Kirby High School and was employed by Chambers Bank in Amity for 21 years, where she served in many capacities, including personal secretary to the President and loan officer. Her hobbies were scrapbooking, reading and spending time with her grandsons. She is survived by her husband, Mike Turner of Lodi; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jenifer and Russell Pedron of Kirby and Cortney and Jeffery Horn of Lodi; six grandsons, Gunner, Zane, Jeb, Kanon, Kaden and Kaleb; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Val and Leland Callaway of Magnolia and Jean and Fred Gill of Fort Wayne, Indiana; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Joyce Parker of Langley, Jessie Pearl Parker of Kirby, Pat and John Geren of Fort Smith, David Turner of Diana, Texas, Jerry and Bonnie Turner and Steve and Becky Turner, all of Lodi; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 27, 2011, in the Daisy Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Kevin Jewell and Bro. Kevin Smead officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday evening, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Lodi Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Pallbearers will be Pierre Davis, Tony Davis, David Sirmon, James Owens, Kevin Miller and Chuck Ray. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of the Chambers Bank in Amity, Carolyn Caldwell, Linda Golden and Peggy Adams. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pike County Hospice, c/o A.D.H., P.O. Box 413, Murfreesboro, Arkansas, 71958 or to the Daisy Free Will Baptist Church Women's Auxiliary, 3809 Hwy. 70 W., Kirby, Arkansas, 71950. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
