Donna Kennedy, age 42, of Searcy, Arkansas, was born June 28, 1969 in Beebe, Arkansas to Robert Hughin and Norma Sue (Bevill) Vincent and she died April 20, 2012.
Donna accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior in her late 20's while in Coldwater, Mississippi. She served God as a Christian Schoolteacher, worked on the bus route, taught Sunday School, and later home schooled her children. She touched many lives in her early years of ministry. Donna loved many and will be missed by them.
Her biggest achievements in life were her children; Erica, Megan, and Scott. She passed down many great qualities to them. She gave peacefulness and the strong spirit to serve God to her eldest, Erica. To Megan, she gave her great creativity and to Scott, her hardworking dedicated spirit.
Donna was known as the biggest "Yard Sale Queen". She could take the ugly and make it beautiful again. Donna was constantly in a garden or flower bed somewhere. Like her Daddy, she had a green thumb. She loved nature and animals, in particular birds. Donna's favorite bird was the robin. She would often say, she would like to be just like that robin and have the ability to fly away. Her favorite scripture was Psalm 55:6

And I say, "O that I had wings like a dove!
I would fly away and be at rest

That is where she is now, at rest in the most beautiful place ever created, Heaven. Donna is now at peace with the Lord, Jesus. Her family and her friends love her and will miss her greatly.

Donna is survived by three children; Erica Brooks and husband, Aaron of Searcy, Megan Smith and husband Jonathan, of Searcy, and Scott Clause of Bald Knob; Mother, Norma Sue Vincent of McRae, husband, David Kennedy of McRae; a brother, Martin Vincent of Beebe and two sisters; Rebecca Goodman of Searcy and Julie Shelby of McRae; six nieces; three nephews; one nephew-in-law; two great nieces and one great nephew. Donna is preceded in death by her father, Robert Hughin Vincent; two brothers, David Charles Vincent and Jordan Ross Vincent.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2012, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Antioch Cemetery.
