Donna Brown

Donna Jane (Yarberry) Brown departed this realm suddenly on April 16, 2020.
Thoughtful and considerate, Donna was loved widely by family and friends. She loved birds, flowers, the ocean, her many brothers and sisters, and her children and grandchildren.
Born August 24, 1942 to Charlie and Goldie Yarberry, Donna was one of nine children. Alongside her roles as wife and mother, Donna worked in retail for many years. A talented quilter and seamstress, she used her retirement to create small quilts for donation to Arkansas Children's Hospital.
Donna was preceded in death by both parents; sisters: Lola Mae and Goldman Lou; brother, Hoyt; and husband, Jerry Brown.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dee Anne and Doug Clark, Sr., of Benton; son and daughter-in-law, Shawn David and Dallas Brown of Siloam Springs; grandchildren: Doug Clark, Jr. and Jasmine Jobe of Little Rock, Jessica Clark of North Little Rock, Sara Brown of Harrisonville, Missouri, and KathaLynn and RaniAnna Brown of Siloam Springs; great-grandchildren: Jackson Clark and Jasper and Isadora Nalley; sisters: Patsy Culp of Benton, Ola Russenburger of Little Rock, and Ethel Smith of Bonnerdale; brothers: Ricky Yarberry of Cedar Ridge and Randy Yarberry of Redfield; as well as many other dear friends and family members.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Donna's honor directly to Arkansas Children's Hospital at archildrens.org/giving. A family memorial and open visitation will be held at Smith-Benton Funeral Home on Monday, April 20 from 1-4 PM.
To honor Donna, you are encouraged to fill your bird feeder, read a Little Golden Book to your grandchildren, and plant some flowers.
