Donald Zaloudek

Donald Ray Zaloudek, 83, of North Little Rock passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015. He was born August 31, 1931 in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Don was a retired Air Force Master Sergeant veteran of Korea and Vietnam. He was assigned as Supply Sergeant on Air Force One serving President Eisenhower, Kennedy and Johnson during his tenure. While in Korea he served as Forward Artillery Observer ahead of his platoon. He was also a member of Knights of Columbus and St. Anne Catholic Church.
He is survived by two sisters, Jennie R. Davis and Helen F. Dumboski (husband and caregiver, Robert) all of North Little Rock. He was preceded in death by his wife of 7 years, Mildred M. Bawiec Zaloudek; father, Arthur Zaloudek; mother Frances Anna Zaloudek (Peitz); siblings, Arthur C. Zaloudek, Lawrence E. Zaloudek, Catherine A. "Kitty" Winburne, Dorthea May Zaloudek and his twin sister who died at birth.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to The Respect Life Office, Diocese of Little Rock, 2500 N. Tyler Street, Little Rock, Arkansas 72207.
Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m., Monday at St. Anne Catholic Church. Burial will be in Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. A visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, followed by a rosary service at 7:00 p.m., at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home.
