Donald Stewart
Donald Wayne Stewart, 78, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017 at his home. He was born March 17, 1939 in Wister, Oklahoma to Orvis and Bessie Stewart. Don was retired from the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Lonnell Stewart; a son, Paul Stewart of Sherwood; two daughters, Lisa (Frank) Ruechert of Pulaski, Wisconsin and Carolyn (Doug) Ward of Maryville, Tennessee; two step-sons, Jay (Jeannie) Wilkins of Smithville, Arkansas and Darren (Sheila) Wilkins of Sherwood, Arkansas; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Good and a step-daughter, Melody Kinney.
A visitation for friends and family will be held at 10:00 a.m. with his funeral service following at 11:30 a.m. at Christian Assembly of God in Sherwood on Thursday, August 31, 2017. The Reverend Hugh Yarbrough will be officiating. Don will be buried with full military honors at the Veteran's Cemetery in North Little Rock.
