Donald Matthew

Donald Matthew, a loving husband, dedicated father, and skilled truck driver, passed away on April 25, 2024. Born on January 12, 1952, Donald lived a life filled with hard work, spirituality, and a passion for solitude in the countryside.

Throughout his career as a truck driver, Donald was known for his reliability and commitment to his work. His strong work ethic and attention to detail made him stand out among his peers. Beyond his professional life, Donald had a creative side that shone through his hobbies of tinkering, fixing things, and building things. He found solace in the simplicity of country living and took pleasure in being surrounded by nature.

Described as spiritual and introverted, Donald Matthew was a man of few words but deep thoughts. He valued quiet moments of reflection and found comfort in his personal beliefs. Those who knew him appreciated his wisdom and thoughtfulness.

Donald will be dearly missed by his surviving family members: his beloved wife, Peggy Matthews and son Donald R. Matthews Jr.  Although he has left this world, Donald's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Among those who have gone before him is his parents, Roland Matthews and Edith Haywood; and son, Allen Matthews.
