Donald Eugene Harris

Donald Eugene Harris, 63, of Scott, Arkansas passed away on October 31, 2023. He was born September 25, 1960, in Lonoke, Arkansas to the late John and Jewel Harris.

Known as “Boo” to his family and friends, he is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Johnny Wayne Harris, Garland Harris and Bob Harris.

Don is survived by his wife, Tonya Harris; children, Brandon Harris (Reva Harden), Brittany Harris (Jason Stanley), Chase Harris (Nikki Munnerlyn); grandchildren, Caleb, Kylie, Brianna, Leila, Olivia, JJ, Emma, Tessala and Madison.

Don loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed watching them grow up. He also loved driving his tractor and being outdoors. Don was placed in hospice in 2021 and was given 30 days to live.  He defied the odds and lived two more years. He will be missed by many. 

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home (1921 Main Street). Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, November 9, 2023, at First Pentecostal Church in North Little Rock with burial following at St. Joe Cemetery in Atkins, Arkansas.
