Donald "Don" E. Collins

Donald "Don" E. Collins, age 66, of Heavener, Oklahoma, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016. He was born on October 29, 1949, in Tucson, Arizona, the son of Raymond Collins and Faye Graham Collins. He was preceded in death by his son, Alvin Collins; and his parents. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on and restoring vehicles. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Angela Collins of Mount Ida; two stepsons, Francisco Flores of Heavener, Oklahoma and Mark Bliss of Norman; one stepdaughter, Sherry Shoemake of Mount Vernon, Texas; fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Allen Collins of Norman and Tommy Collins of Arizona; one sister, Sharon Naylor of Oklahoma; several nieces, nephews and extended family members; and a host of wonderful friends. Memorial services will be held by the family on Saturday, June 18, 2016, in Heavener, Oklahoma. Cremation arrangements were under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood.
