Donald Lester Crone

Donald Lester Crone, age 78 of Buford, Georgia, born March 24, 1944, passed away September 6, 2022. He was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas to the late Hershel Lester Crone and Betty Jane Crone. Donald is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Nora Ellen Crone. Donald is survived by his wife, Linda Ellen of 56 years; son, Travis Lester Crone (Rachel); sister, Teresa Kemp (Stephen); aunt, Floy Fikes; uncle, Dayton Crone; and brother-in-law, James Williams; five grandchildren, Gabriel McNeely, Noah Crone, Drew Crone, Cash Crone and Jude Crone; nieces, Tracy Runck (Chris), Hayley Bennetts (Jeremy), Evyn Runck; nephews, Sean Runck,  Eli Bennetts, and Alan Heath (Susan). Donald is a member of Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church in Dacula, Georgia. He was a former member and deacon of Graves Memorial Baptist Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He graduated from Hot Springs High School and Henderson State College with a bachelor degree. He retired from Merial Limited in Duluth, Georgia. Donald loved traveling, woodworking, cooking, fishing and hunting, hiking, and the art of bonsai. He loved our Lord Jesus and we know that today he is enjoying a land more beautiful than anyone could imagine. Arkansas funeral services will be held at Graves Memorial Baptist Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas on
September 16, 2022. Visitation at 3 PM followed by funeral services at 4 PM.

Georgia funeral services will be announced at a future date.
