Donald A. Browder, 83, of Hensley, Arkansas passed away August 1, 2024. He was born January 8, 1941 in Humphrey, Arkansas to the late Lavern and Lela Mae (McGinty) Browder. 

Donald loved the Lord and was a member at East Union Missionary Baptist Church. He was an avid Razorback fan. Donald had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing. He was the biggest Elvis Presley fan ever! Family was Donald’s greatest treasure and he loved each one with all his heart. He had a special place in his heart for animals of all kinds, but he was especially fond of Pickle, his faithful companion.

Preceding Donald in death are his loving wife of over 60 years, Evelyn Elizabeth Browder; son, Andy Browder; parents, Laverne L. Browder and Lela Mae (McGinty) Browder; and brothers:­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ Bobby Max Browder, Stanley Browder, and Norman Browder.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his children: Donald R. Browder and wife Rebecca, Tammy Browder Copeland and husband Mike, and Victoria Browder; six grandchildren: Jillian Browder, Jason Leichmon and wife Courtney, Nicole Copeland, Megan Copeland Minick and husband Carl, Andrew Browder, and Dillon Browder; six great-grandchildren: Kobe Leichmon, Braylon Leichmon, Lela Rose Leichmon, Zander Leichmon, and Caleb Cavanaugh; sisters: Brenda Barnhill, Cheryl Browder, Wanda Black, and Gail Schultz; and many family members and friends who love Donald and will miss him always. 

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM, Tuesday, August 6, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 7, at Smith-Benton Funeral Home with burial following at Pinecrest Memorial Park.

 Assisting as pallbearers are Donald Browder, Andrew Browder, Dillon Browder, Mike Copeland, and Chris Meachum. Honorary pallbearer is Michael Yarbrough.

In lieu of flowers, family has requested donations be made to the Saline County Humane Society at https://www.hssaline.org/donate, or to Friendly Chapel Church of the Nazarene at https://friendlychapel.org/give.
