Donald Berry
Donald James Berry, 87, of Mabelvale, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2010. He was born on September 1, 1923 in Rodman, New York, the third son of Elmer and Gladys Couch Berry. He entered the ministry in 1943 at the age of 20 and gave thirty years in the work. After leaving the work, he married Jeanette Quinn who died in their fourth year of marriage.
Preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Harry and Wellington, he is survived by his wife of 28 years, Barbara Clarice Berry; nephews, Lee and Gary; nieces, Ruth, Marie and Roseanne; and many great-nephews and nieces.
Services will be held on Saturday, October 2 at 10:00 a.m. at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Esther Schraw and Glenda Pickering, followed by interment at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home
