Don Williams, a friendly man who never met a stranger, passed away on December 15, 2023, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was born on February 11, 1949, to his parents Bertha and Charles Williams, and grew up in the city of Lonoke.
Don lived a remarkable life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments. After serving his country with dedication and honor for 10 years, he retired from the United States Navy in 1988. Don's commitment and service to his nation were always held in high esteem.
Aside from his military career, Don had a multitude of passions and interests that brought joy to his life. One of his favorite pastimes was playing the guitar. With skillful fingers strumming the strings, he often created beautiful melodies that resonated with those around him.
A testament to Don's culinary prowess was his famous homemade salsa. Friends and family will forever remember the tantalizing flavors he crafted in his kitchen. His delicious creations brought people together and served as a reminder of how food could nourish both the body and the soul.
Don had a soft spot for all animals and shared many memorable moments with the dogs and cats that brightened his life over the years. His genuine affection for these four-legged companions reflected his compassionate nature.
As we bid farewell to Don Williams, we would like to acknowledge the loving family he leaves behind. Lil Williams stood by him as his wife for 24 years, offering unwavering support throughout their journey together. Don's daughter Kim White (Chris), and step-children Barbara Caley (Jim), Adam Malone (Sandy), Ben Malone, Cody Malone (Anita), and Dana Chaney (James) were truly blessed to have him as their father. He is also survived by his granddaughter, grandson, great granddaughter, and step-granddaughters. His presence enriched their lives with boundless love and guidance.
Don Williams will forever be remembered as a kind-hearted and friendly soul. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May his soul find eternal peace as we carry his memory in our hearts.
