Don Lewis, Sr.

Don Edward Lewis, Sr., 63, of Traskwood, Arkansas passed away March 26, 2021.  He was born in Benton, Arkansas on November 28, 1957 to Kenneth Gene and Patsy Ruth (Wheeler) Lewis.

Don grew up in the country where he enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing.  He was a great person who enjoyed tinkering with things that needed to be fixed.  Don played football and baseball during his school years.  He worked in the sheet metal business all of his life.

Don was preceded in death by his mother, Patsy Ruth (Wheeler) Lewis; and many aunts and uncles.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Don E. Lewis, Jr.; grandchild, McKenna Peyton Lewis; father, Kenneth Lewis; brothers:  Roy Lewis and Wayne Lewis; sister, Robin Kay Ewing and her husband Roger; and many more family members and friends who love Don and will miss him always.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM, Wednesday, March 31 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home, 322 N. Market Street, Benton, Arkansas.  Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, April 1 at Smith-Benton Funeral Home with burial following at Hicks Cemetery.
