Dixie Davis

Dixie Jeaneta Morris Davis, 87 of North Little Rock, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2010 at Arkansas Hospice Center in Little Rock. She was born on August 5, 1922 in Redfield, Arkansas; she was the daughter of Joe Morris and Emma Roberts Morris.
Dixie was a retired sales clerk for Sears, and was the past District President of the Federation of the Women's Club of Arkansas and former regional member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and was a long time member of Parkhill Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of seventy years Ben Davis
Survivors include two sons Gary and Mildred Davis and Bennie and Sharon Davis; six grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Noon at Huson Funeral Home Chapel in Sherwood. Interment will be held at Rest Hills Memorial park Mausoleum in North Little Rock.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 4, 2010 at Huson Funeral Home in Sherwood.
