Dixie Bour

Dixie Jean Bour of Little Rock passed from this life on February 2, 2022 at the age of ninety-four. She was born March 9, 1927 in Cache Lake, Arkansas to the late Andy and Ora Adams. Ms. Bour was a member of the Mabelvale United Methodist Church, the Aero Club, and the Pioneers of Mabelvale Club. She enjoyed traveling and was well known for her crochet skills. Dixie enjoyed crocheting hats for infants in the NICU at Arkansas Children’s Hospital. She will always be remembered as a kind, loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Bour, and several siblings.

Survivors include her son, Stephen Bour, and wife Theresa of Little Rock; grandchildren, Sarah Bour of Little Rock, Andrew Bour of Virginia, and Ashely Bour of Shannon Hills. Other survivors include her sister, Patty Martin of Alabama; daughter in law, Linda Bour of Shannon Hills and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Memorial services will be 3:00pm, Monday, February 7, 2022 at Smith Little Rock Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 2:00pm.
