Dimple Brockinton

Dimple Brockinton, 96, of Olmstead died peacefully surrounded by her family, Monday, August 2, 2010. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church in North Little Rock, loved keeping her grandchildren, bingo, flowers, her vegetable garden, fishing, cooking, quilting, crafts and playing dominoes with her special friend, Ann Johnson.
She is survived by her husband of 76 years, Emmett L. Brockinton, of Jacksonville; son, Leroy (Edna) Brockinton, of Cabot; daughters, Wilma Lewis and Carolyn Williford; sons, Charles (Doris) Brockinton, Donnie (Iris) Brockinton, all of Jacksonville, and Kyle (Barbara) Brockinton, of Sherwood; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and special friend, Donna McVey. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Sims; three grandchildren, Debra Sims, Scott Brockinton and Darrell Brockinton; five brothers and three sisters.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Woodland Hills for their care and love.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday in the North Little Rock Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Harmony Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
