Diane Carol Thomas Tew went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 13, 2011 in Albany, Georgia at Phoebe Putney Hospital. She was born on December 28, 1964 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Diane graduated from Ole Main High School in North Little Rock. Diane fought a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Her survivors include her special friend and caregiver, Cheryl Ford; daughter, Jessica Crossley (Drew) of North Little Rock; son, Cody Hinson of Florence, Alabama; brother, Don Thomas (Nancy); sister, Dorothy Shirley (Bobby) of Leesburg, Georgia; grandson, Kaleb; and many cousins and friends.
Diane was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Luvenia Thomas and father, Lexter Thomas.
The family wishes to express its grateful appreciation for the outpouring of love and concern, especially her doctors and nurses at UAMS.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday in Edgewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main, 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
