Dewey Russell

Dewey F. Russell, age 82 of Caddo Valley, Arkansas, died June 29, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs, AR. He was born November 28, 1935 in Okolona, AR, the son of Jessie Charles "Zibb" and Sarah Ellen Crawley Russell. Dewey loved fishing, playing dominoes, and spending lots of time visiting with family and friends. He ran the Exxon Gas Station in Caddo Valley for 40 year and was a member of Caddo Valley Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Brian Russell; three brothers, H.C. Russell, Howard Russell and Millard Russell.

Dewey is survived by his wife of 56 years, Frances Russell; Nephews, H. Charles Russell Jr. of Red Bluff, CA, David Russell, and Mike Russell both of Arkadelphia and niece Elaine Krause of Murray, Utah.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at the Ruggles Wilcox Chapel in Arkadelphia, with Rev. Doug White and Dr. Derrick Flowers officiating and burial in Weir cemetery in Okolona, AR. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6-8 at the Funeral Home. Pallbearers are: Jeff Lockwood, Ricky Green, David Russell, Mike Russell, David Lee Russell, and Brad Russell.
