Dennis Alvin Wehunt

Dennis Alvin Wehunt of Caddo Gap, went to be with his Savior at 2:12 PM, on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at the age of 71 years old.

He was born on June 3, 1951, the son of Andrew and Aleene Wehunt.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Burlon Wehunt; his two sisters, Lois Vasseau and Caroline Wehunt; and his sister-in-law, Anette Wehunt.

Dennis had the kindest heart of anyone his family had ever met. He would literally give anyone the shirt off his back with no questions asked. Dennis will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Ann Wehunt Yates and her husband, Jake, of Hot Springs; his son, Ryan Andrew Wehunt and his fiancé, Renee Cogburn; and his daughter, Christy Don Wehunt, all of Hopper; his two brothers, Vernon Wehunt, and his wife, Suzie, of Glenwood, and Glen Wehunt of Caddo Gap; his eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild, Cassidy and Tristan Lovell, Caitlyn Michelle Turner, Austin Eric Turner, Sidney Kimble, Carter Eric Wilson, all of Hot Springs, Kaylee Flagg, Kara Flagg, and Spencer Flagg, all of Bull Shoals, and Brooklyn Cogburn of Caddo Gap; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and a host of wonderful friends. 

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, June 3, 2023, in the Fancy Hill Cemetery with Bro. Bobby Lock and Ben Lock officiating.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Wehunt, Jake Yates, Austin Turner, Fred Rhodes, Joe Cogburn, Lynn Epperson, and Earl Moore.

Honorary pallbearers will be the loving nurses and staff of Arkansas Hospice.
