Dennis Treadway

Dennis Treadway, 65, of Maumelle passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was born to the late Charles and Elsie Treadway of North Little Rock four days before Christmas in 1948.
Dennis worked in sales for many years. He owned Treadway's Grocery for 17 years. He delivered milk for Coleman Dairy, sold insurance for American General and United Healthcare, and sold cars for Russell Honda. In retirement he was delivering prescriptions for Maumelle Healthmart. Dennis was a great salesman, because he loved to talk to people and find out about their lives. Many customers became friends.
Survivors are his wife of 20 years, Dolores Treadway; children, Deana Jones (Todd), Dana Holmes, Matt Rogers (Suzanne) and Grant Rogers; grandchildren, Courtney Guice, Haley and Presley Holmes, Riley and Mia Jones, Rayleigh and Gavin Rogers; brother, Michael Treadway (Kathy); and sisters, Vickie Hall and Elaine Carr; in-laws, Ova Lee Shelby and the late Irvin Shelby, Jr. He was also blessed with many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation and funeral services will be held at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Services will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at 12 Noon. Burial will follow in Quattlebaum Cemetery, Bee Branch, Arkansas. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
