Elizabeth Denise "Babydoll" Calley Whisenhunt

Elizabeth Denise "Babydoll" Calley Whisenhunt, age 43, of Delight, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023. 

She was born on March 27, 1980, in Vancouver, Canada.  On June 6, 1998, she was married to the love of her life, Steve Whisenhunt, who always lovingly referred to her as "Babydoll".  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Forrest and Margret Mullen and Noah and Flora Calley; and her sister, Marie Bickford. 

Denise will always be remembered as a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, who found joy in taking care of her family.  She poured her heart into creating a warm and loving home for her loved ones. Family meant the world to Denise, and she treasured the moments spent with them. 

Denise leaves behind a lifetime of beautiful memories that have touched the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know her. In moments of grief, it is important to remember that Denise would want her loved ones to find happiness in the wonderful memories they shared. She would encourage everyone to find strength in each other during this difficult time and carry forward her legacy of love, compassion, and selflessness.  She was truly loved and cherished and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Denise is survived by her husband, Steve Whisenhunt; three daughters, Emily Whisenhunt and Patrick Crabtree, Aubrie Whisenhunt and Dustin Dinger, and Graci Whisenhunt; one grandchild, Harley Crabtree; her parents, Judith Mullen and Bobby and Jean Calley; her brother, Kelly Calley; two sisters and brother-in-law, Sarah and Greg Carpenter and Bobbi Calley; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, in the Delight Cemetery with Bro. Gathright officiating.

A private visitation will be held for the family.

Pallbearers will be Kaleb Calley, Noah Muse, Christain Watts, Taylor Walker, Patrick Crabtree and Dustin Dinger.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dylan Henderson and Ray Mullen.

Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home, Glenwood, 209 North Third Street, Glenwood, AR 71943.
