Dena Ball

Dena Marie (Hickey) Ball, 67, of East End went to be with her Lord and Savior, and her beautiful daughter, LeAnn on Sunday, July 21, 2013 after a short and courageous battle with cancer. She was a member of East Union Missionary Baptist Church, where she was a member of the choir and retired after 25 years from L'Oreal. She was a member of Zumba Class at the Hays Center in North Little Rock and loved working in her yard.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Bobby Ball, of East End; son and daughter-in-law, Robbie and Kim Ball, of Hot Springs; two grandsons, Logan Ball of Cabot and Michael Ball of Hot Springs; two sisters, Mae Campbell and Hope DeFor both of Jacksonville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arlin and Ellen Hickey; daughter, LeAnn Ball; sister, Sherry Henderson and her brother, Bobby Hickey.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to her loving caregivers, Georgia Moseby and Kathy Laughtry. She will be greatly missed by many caring friends, including her closest friend, Marilyn Brooks and her sister-in-law, Joyce Bailey.
Memorials may be made to East Union Missionary Baptist Church Choir Fund, 20422 N. Springlake Road, Little Rock, Arkansas 72206.
A family visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at East Union Missionary Baptist Church, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery.
