Delores Deaton

Delores Deaton, age 66, of Amity, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019. She was born on June 1, 1953 in Arkadelphia, the daughter of James Ray Deaton and Ima Jean Fulton Deaton. She was preceded in death by her parents. A registered nurse, Delores retired from Baptist Medical Center in Arkadelphia and attended Amity Second Baptist Church. She loved the outdoors, hunting and camping. Delores also enjoyed arts and crafts, especially, painting. She is survived by two children and their spouses, Chris and Dustie Rice of Amity and Kayla and Cody Funderburk of Kirby; two step-children, Leah Davidson and Seth Davidson, both of Amity; seven grandchildren, Jace Rice, Tinley Rice, Cain Funderburk, Brittany Ashley, Kimberly Null, Jade Moshier and Cameron Kitchens; two brothers and one sister-in-law, James and Cindy Deaton of Benton and Keith Deaton of Amity; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Terry and Loail Sims of Arkadelphia and Brenda and Rick Falkowski of Hot Springs; and her nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 3, 2019, in the Amity Second Baptist Church with Bro. Jimmy Forsythe officiating.
