Delores Deam

Delores Lewis Deam, 73, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2006 in Little Rock. She was born in Charleston, Mississippi on August 18, 1932, graduated from high school in Glen Allen, Mississippi and attended Millsaps College in Jackson, MS. In the early 1950's, she moved to Pine Bluff, Arkansas where she married L. L. Deam.
She is survived by two sons, James W. Deam of Perryville, AR and Wayne Deam of Pine Bluff; sister, Daisy Cranford of Clarksville, AR; brother, Gene Lewis of Memphis, TN; five grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
After retiring from the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission, Delores became a long time employee of Ace Hardware Distribution Center in Maumelle, AR. She was a member of Markham Street Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 11, 2006, at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Court (NW corner of I-630 and Barrow Road), Little Rock. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Graveside service and burial will be at 1:00 p.m., August 12, 2006 at Greenfield Plantation Cemetery (County Line Community Cemetery) in Glen Allen, MS.
