Delmer Horsey

Gene Horsey 91 of Natural Steps, Arkansas went to his heavenly home February 17, 2017. He was born July 1, 1925 to Jim and Edna Horsey. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, a half-sister, and his son Jeffory Scott Horsey.
Gene is survived by his loving wife of 70 years Louise Graves Horsey, daughter Jeanie Roystuart, grandson Chris Roystuart, great grandsons Caleb and Cole Roystuart, and sisters Lorene Morgan (his twin), and Imogene Hudspeth.
Gene spent most of his working years at Knox Gill Sheet Metal. After retirement, you could usually find him on the Arkansas River fishing, hunting, or whatever the day called for. He always had a story to tell. He had a deep, deep love for the beautiful world God created.
Gene was a lifelong member of the Baptist churches in the Natural Steps area. He loved his lord and knew when this day came he was ready and would tell you he knew where he was going.
The family would like to thank the staff of Kindred Hospice for their love and support especially Dr. Dubbaka, Chaplin Scott, Bernice, Mya, Kathy, Jasmine, and Bobby Jo. Also, the staff at Valley Ranch Rehab and Nursing Home, and a very special thank you to Marty.
Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Wednesday, February 22, 2017 with a visitation at 1 P.M. until service time at The Church at Pinnacle Mountain. Interment will follow at Natural Steps Cemetery. Arrangements are by Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home.
