Delmer Bishop

Delmer Morris Bishop, 84, of North Little Rock passed away Thursday, August 14, 2014. He was a retired carpenter with Baldwin and Shell Construction, Inc. and a member and deacon of First General Baptist Church in North Little Rock.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Betty Bishop; daughter, Stacy Bishop, both of North Little Rock; two brothers, Arthur Bishop (Mary) of Conway and Troy Bishop, of Benton; and a host of friends and adopted children. He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Virgie Bishop; two sisters and one brother.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First General Baptist Church, Family Life Center, 5920 MacArthur Drive, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72118.
A graveside service will be held 12:00 p.m., Tuesday at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Sunday at Smith - North Little Rock Funeral Home. Online obituary at www.SmithFamilyCares.com .
