Della Sue Myers

 

Della Sue Myers, age 82, of Williamstown, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023.

 

She was born on March 29, 1941, the daughter of Earnest Echols and Stella Mae Cornish Echols.  She was preceded in death by her two sons, William “Bill” Warnick and Robert Boyd Warnick; and her siblings, Rufus, Leroy, Cecil, Audie, Sr, and Dealta Cogburn.

 

She was a member of the Temperanceville Baptist Church of Nashville, Arkansas.  Della was retired from Poulan Weed Eater of Nashville.  She had a passion for animals, especially hummingbirds and butterflies, and she enjoyed the outdoors, working in the yard and her flower beds. Della truly loved her family and will be missed deeply by everyone who knew and loved her.

 

She is survived by her two sons, Ronald Warnick and his wife, Kaye, of Murfreesboro and Gene Shirley of Nashville; her two daughters, Debbie Suggs of Nashville and Melissa Cornelison of Walton, Kentucky; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.   

 

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 24, 2023, in the Bear Creek Cemetery in Kirby with Bro. Calvin Parker and Bro. Ronnie Bevill officiating.

 

Visitation will be held Friday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel, Glenwood, 209 North Third Street, Glenwood, Arkansas 71943.

 

Pallbearers will be Gene Shirley, Audie Echols, Jr., Troy Markham, Kevin Shirley, Keith Morton and Jeremy Warnick.

 

Honorary pallbearers will be the nurses and staff of the Grant Manor Nursing and Rehab in Williamstown, Kentucky and the nurses and staff of Hospice Care of St. Elizabeth, Kentucky.
