Dell Rogers

Eliza Dell Rogers passed away December 16, 2019.  She was born April 4, 1930 to Charles and Cillar Leach in Higginson, Arkansas, the fourth of the family after sister Bonnie, and brothers Rudolf and Donald, who have predeceased her.

Dell married L. H. Rogers on August 10, 1950.  They had four sons, Dan, Harvey, Charles and Tim.  L. H. and Charles have predeceased her.

Dell was blessed to have ten grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.

Grandma, Dell, Aunt Dell, Miss Dell also had dear friends in the Vinity, Garner, and McRae communities that she loved.  Chocolate drop cookies and apple cake to all.

Daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt.  She was a great cook—feeder of many:  chocolate gravy, drop cookies, apple cake, fried squirrel, deer steak, biscuits and gravy.  Avid coon hunter, log walker, wood splitter, dog feeder, gardener, advice giver; “Above all” Love them, Love them, Love them!
