Delbert Brewer, 86, of North Little Rock, AR, passed away on September 28, 2022.
Born in 1936 in Little Rock to Delbert T and Margaret L Brewer, Delbert spent the majority of his life in Arkansas. He was a true Arkansan who loved the outdoors and was often fishing. His professional life revolved around "lighting up the room" as an electrician and after many years of service retired from the North little Rock Electric Department. Anyone who knew him, knew he was good for a story or two that was guaranteed to be entertaining.
He genuinely loved his community and demonstrated that in his years as a Scout Master, a 32nd degree Mason, and serving as a deacon at Levy Baptist church where he was a member for over 60 years.
Awaiting him in heaven are his parents and son, Richard W Brewer. Remaining to celebrate his life and legacy are his wife of 63 years, Anita; sons, Sam (Charlotte) Colvert, Bob (Susan) Brewer, and Thomas (Linda) Brewer; daughters, Cathleen (Ronnie) Morrow and Margaret Brewer; sister, Joan Brewer; daughter-in-law, Mimi Brewer; twelve grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and a host of dear family and friends.
The family will host a visitation from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Levy Baptist Church.
Graveside service will be 11 a.m., Friday, October 7, 2022 at Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery.
