Delano L Gordon, II

Delano Lamont Gordon II, known to the family as "Boot," was born September 21st, 1992, to his late Mother, Trina Glover and Father, Delano Lamont Gordon III (Los Angeles, CA), followed by his Stepfather O'Dell Broomfield (Hot Springs, AR). Delano was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and grew up in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He attended Lake Hamilton High School, where he did what he loved to do, play basketball. He once stated, "Being on the court just gives me life." He worked at Kerry's as a full-time lead production. On April 12, 2023, at the age of 30, Delano transitioned to heaven to be with his late mother, Trina Glover, and his late son, whom he loved so much and only got two sweet months with Dreh❜lyn Gordon. He is also preceded in death by his maternal great- grandparents, James and Mildred Counts

Delano Lamont Gordon II was the unpredictable goofy kind of guy. You never knew what to expect when he stepped in the room, except you were going to wrestle around and play. To know him was to love him due to the big smile he kept on his face and the huge heart he had for everyone he came in contact with. Delano was a T-ball coach for Majestic at High Impact who led his team to a big win on the day he transitioned. He was big on family and even bigger with any child that met him. Delano spent his days as a family man as well as spending time with his nieces and nephews. He had a joy for motorcycles and four-wheelers. All the neighborhood kids would gather around, waiting on Delano to come outside because he would always ride them one by one up and down the street. He had three dogs whom he loved dearly. Delano was the go- to person, the protector, and a joy for everyone to be blessed with his presence. He always enjoyed being funny and putting a smile on any and everyone's face
