Debra Lynn Moore entered into the presence of the Lord on October 1, 2019 and was reunited with her beautiful daughters Corey and Kristian. She was born on January 24, 1959 in Little Rock, AR to Ernest and Gladys (Saucier) Willis.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Gladys Willis, her daughters, Corey and Kristian Moore. Sister, Mary Shook, and brother, Gary Willis. She is survived by her brother, Donnie Willis; nephews, Kevin Shook, Matthew Shook (Jennifer), Scott Willis all of Little Rock, AR, Wesley Shook (Laura) of Bryant, AR; niece, Pamela Weinberger of Little Rock, AR.
Debbie was raised in Little Rock and considered any place 5 miles outside of Little Rock to be too far unless it was a garden center or peach orchard. She spent her adult life working many places around town but found her work home/family at Arkansas Otolaryngology Center where she was a patient coordinator for 20 years. Debbie was loved by the patient's and staff at AOC for her kind heart, sense of humor and strong work ethic. She will be greatly missed by her AOC family.
She was legendary for her gardening skills and wicked sense of humor. Debbie could grow anything. Debbie was known for gifting of tomatoes and vases full of hydrangeas that were left anonymously at a lucky coworker's desk. On pretty weekends, you could find her driving the golf carts through the local garden center!
Debbie had a love and heart for animals. She cherished her "rascals" Ally, Jazzy and Rocky and was known to feed the neighborhood cats.
Debbie had a life filled with love from friends and family but still a life filled with unimaginable tragedies. She was tough on the outside but kind with a soft and loving heart for all people and animals on the inside. Even in despair, Debbie's faith in the Lord remained her comfort and her hope. The sorrow for those left behind is great but knowing she is in the presence of the Lord, Corey and Kristian bring comfort and joy.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m., Saturday, October 12th at Little Rock Funeral Home.
Debbie's friends and family would like to thank Dr. Diane Wilder, Dr. Marcia Erbland and Dr. Sarah Yans for their knowledge and compassion during Debbie's brief illness. We would also like to thank the staff at Hospice Home Care for their grace and perfection!
