Debra Jo Gamble, 52, of Sherwood, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012. She was born September 27, 1959 in California.
She is preceded in death by her son, Justin Ray Phillips.
She is survived by her husband, Dave Gamble, her daughter Charla Miller, her mother, Jonelle McDaniel, and mother and father in law, Roseanna and Arnold George. Sisters; Teresa Marino (Edwin), Cindi Cozart (Mark), Jolynn Skelton (Jimmy), and brother, Brad Durrett (Tracie).
Grandchildren; Trenton, Haley, and Brayden
Nieces and Nephews; Chalice Kerr, Chevon Eaton, Natalie DeSilva, Joni Jones, Lindsay Hild, Sydney Halcumb, Bradley Durrett, Luke Durrett, Drake Durrett, Brittney Skelton, Jacob Daniels, Braum, Briley, Scarlett, Nick, Josh, Madeline, and Lollie
Uncle and Aunt, John and Ann Hardcastle Grandmother, Hazel "mema" Hild Cousin, Carrie Smith (Larry), and Mike Pafundi
She also leaves behind a host of family and friends.
Debra Jo, also know by some as DJ, was known for her loud and proud personality and voice. She had an amazing heart that provided an answer for everything for anyone she ever met. She was an avid outdoorsmen who enjoyed hunting, fishing, bird-watching, gardening, and relaxing at the river. She enjoyed catering to her grandchildren and nieces and nephews and being able to be the host just so everyone could have a good time. She had a laugh that was infectious to everyone. The love she had for her Boston terriors was unrivaled and she never left home without them. She has a giving spirit when it came to other's pets as well. When you hear the name Debra Jo, you will always know, "I love you little, I love you big, I love you like a big fat pig".
Visitation is at Huson Funeral Home, 7700 Hwy 107, Sherwood, AR 72120 on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 12:00 with a memorial service to follow at 1:00 p.m.
