Nursing was her true passion. Her heart was dedicated to the service and care of others. She had been a nurse since 1985 and was never “off duty.”
She was adored by so many and had a vast collection of interests including: unicorns, fishing, remodeling the house with George, listening to Kenny G, and making memories with those dearest to her. If she wasn’t busy with one or all of those activities, she was deeply involved with her church family and spent precious hours in the later years of her life continuing to serve through Christ’s love.
Josh and Bryan wanted to ensure a few Special Mentions to thank them for their love, support, and care: Sister Debbie Smith, Sister Anita Whittington, Bridgette Simmons (co-worker), Melinda Moseley (Hunger Games lunch buddy), Kathy (Hospice Care CNA) and “The Jennifers,” Pleasant Hill Senior Services Care Team (Natalie, Kandace, Stephanie, Jasmine), Carla Neal (dear friend), Deborah (social worker), Caroline Sterns (angel on earth), Audrey Neill (dear friend), and Sister Debbie (Eddie) Ison.
The family is having a private memorial service.
