Debra Anita Rogers Edwards age 67 of Mayflower passed away August 20, 2018 due to bladder cancer. She was born August 15, 1951 at Little Rock, AR to Louis Daniel (LD) & Verda Mae Norrell Rogers. Anita has been employed at MM Cohn, Federal Reserve Bank & Krogerâs in Conway. Anita was a kind and gentle person who loved all of her nieces and nephews and would keep them all the time when they were young. She also loved animals. The one thing Anita did not like to do is cook. Anita was preceded in death by her father LD Rogers and ex-husband Ronnie Edwards. She is survived by a daughter Natasha Edwards Rodarte, mother Verda Mae Rogers, one brother Danny (Vicki) Rogers, one sister Annice (Kevin) Dillon, four grandchildren that were her pride and joy Nathaniel Welling, Soledad Rodarte, Hilario Rodarte & Isaiah Rodarte all of Mayflower. 3 special nieces, 2 nephews, 2 special great nieces, 5 special great nephews, special great-great niece, and 2 special great-great nephews. Anita will be missed by many.
Visitation is Wednesday, August 22 from 2-3 p.m. in the Griffin Leggett Conway Chapel. Service will follow at 3 p.m.
Pallbearers are Adrian Moore, Nathaniel Welling, Kelcey Stubbs, Bobby Edwards, Justin Dillon, Jace Lewis.
Family will be at the home of Verda Mae Rogers.
A special thank you to Dr. Arnautakis at UAMS. Would also like to thank the Hospice nurses 7E and doctors who helped keep her comfortable.
Brother Terry Turner will be officiating the service.
