Deborah Smith, age 64 of Hot Springs, passed away on June 2, 2024. Born on January 26, 1960, Deborah lived a life filled with love and faith. She is preceded in death by her devoted husband, Bruce Smith; mother, Joyce Hecke; and brother, Anthony Hecke.

Throughout her life, Deborah exemplified unwavering devotion to her work and her community. Her dedication as a Secretary for the Alliance church in Altoona, PA touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her. Deborah also selflessly served in the U.S Coast Guard, showing her commitment to serving others and her country.

Those who were fortunate enough to have known Deborah will always remember her as a kind-hearted soul who loved the Lord with all of her heart. Her warmth and compassion touched the lives of many, making her presence truly unforgettable.

Deborah is survived by her father, Don Hecke; son, Jayden Beall; grandson, Liam Beall; brother, Ernest "Al" Costa; and sister, Darlene Hecke.

 Although Deborah's physical presence may no longer grace this world, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. In this time of grief, may they find solace in the fond memories shared with Deborah during their time with her.

Services will be announced at a later date at the Piney Grove Church in Hot Springs.
