Deborah "Debbie" Lynn Swain

August 15, 1955 — December 27, 2022

Bryant, Arkansas

Deborah “Debbie” Lynn Swain, 67, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away December 27, 2022.  She was born August 15, 1955 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to the late Othal “Dub” Ryan and Flossie (Hyde) Ryan.

Faith, family and friends were most important to Debbie.  She was affectionately called “Granny” by her grandchildren, “GG” by her great-granddaughter; and “Aunt Deb” by her nieces and nephews.  Family was her absolute world.  She had an enormous capacity to love- and loved longer, deeper, and harder than anyone.   Debbie had a compassionate heart and would do anything for anyone.  Everyone who knew Debbie loved her and counted themselves blessed to have her in their lives.

Preceding Debbie in death is the love of her life, her loving husband, Rick Gene Swain; parents:  Othal “Dub” and Flossie Ryan; sisters:  Betty L. Mabry and Barbara Sue McCamey; and brother-in-law, Larry Johnson.

Debbie leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Victor Swain and wife Brittani of Englewood, Colorado; daughter, Roslyn Smith and husband James of Jonesboro, Arkansas; grandchildren:  Jordyn Smith, Hayden R. Farley, and Elijah Dalton Smith; great-granddaughter, Olivia Pond Farley; siblings:  Lonnie Ryan and partner George Ferguson of Bryant, Arkansas, Larry Ryan and wife Joyce of Brookland, Arkansas, and Joan Johnson of Owensville, Arkansas; many nieces and nephews, family members, and friends who love Debbie and will miss her always.
