Deborah Annette Brakefield, age 46, of Gilmer, Texas, was surrounded by family and friends as she boldly bid this world farewell on Wednesday, March 3, 2022. Words and emotions overflow like a fountain for our Deborah.
On June 7, 1975, in Mountain Home, Arkansas, Willis Eugene Williams Sr. and Francine Annette Smith Williams became the proud parents of a precious blue eyed baby girl. She is preceded in the celebration of eternal life by her father.
On September 3, 2006, she forever changed her name becoming Mrs. Brakefield, marrying the love of her life, Mike. She is survived by her tribe; husband, Mike Brakefield; mother, Francine Williams; two sisters and brother-in-law, Angela Foster and Amy and John Berg; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Willis E. Williams, Jr. and Shana Williams and Joey and Amy Williams; many nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
Deborah was a product manager, where she worked 20 plus years building a career within United Health Group. She loved traveling and the simple things in life brought her joy, such as Sunday BBQ with Mike. She was known for her special skillset at finding the impossible bargain. We are grateful and blessed to know of her love and to love her back.
