Deborah Black, age 68, of Black Springs, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2020. She was born on January 1, 1952 in Porterville, California, the daughter of Russell Allen Miller and Geneva Alice Wright Miller. On October 21, 1973, she was married to Floyd "Butch" Black who preceded her in death on August 1, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her father and passed away together with her sister, Roseanna Markham. Deborah was a member of the Murphy Baptist Church and was a bus driver for the Caddo Hills School District for more than 20 years. She enjoyed sitting on her front porch and being with her family. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Misty and Lance York of Glenwood and Shane and Nicole Black of Black Springs; four grandchildren, Jaylin Ramsey, Levi York, Maeycee Sliger and Piper Black; her mother, Geneva Miller of Norman; her brother, Tim Miller of Norman; and her nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 11, 2020, in the Glenwood First Baptist Church with Bro. Doug Wills officiating. Visitation will be Monday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the church. Interment will be in Murphy Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Guest registry is at www.davis-smith.com.
