Deanna Schmidt
Deanna Mae Schmidt, 71, of Lonoke passed away Monday, April 9, 2012. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church and retired from Remington Arms. She enjoyed horses and cats, especially her pet cat, "Fuzzy".
She is survived by her husband, Roger Schmidt, of Lonoke; daughter, Dawn Renee McElderry, of Sherwood; two grandchildren, Misti Dawn Polono, of Hardy and Jared Kyle McElderry, of Maryland; two great-grandchildren, Hunter Alan McElderry and Mason Kyle McElderry; and her sister, Patricia Utley, of Hardy. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Alma Summers Cole; son, Kenneth Dewayne Cross; and her grandson, Dustin Shawn McElderry.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday at Bethany Baptist Church, 308 Eureka Gardens Road, North Little Rock. Burial will be in Arkansas Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday at North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main St., 758-1170. Online obituary and guest registry at www.nlrfh.com.
